Modesto Design Collective (MO.DE) is a community of designers, innovators, makers, and creative visionaries. We are committed to making Modesto a vibrant design capital that values, celebrates and supports design and the broader creative community.
Join us for the third, annual MO.DE gathering - a fun evening of inspiring speakers, food, wine, music and networking with fellow Modesto-area designers of all creative disciplines!
The evening will also include:
an update on MO.DE activities and plans for 2019-20;
an overview of Modesto Architecture & Design Week (MADWEEK) schedule of events;
FEATURED SPEAKER: Carrie Bishop, Chief Digital Services Officer, City and County of San Francisco;
launch of the MO.DE “Future Faces of Design,” featuring a dozen local, young design creatives reflecting on what inspires them, where design is going, and what the role and responsibility of the designer is in society;
contribute your ideas to the launch of the Modesto Design School, a crowd-sourced, community skillshare offered for local designers, by local designers;
table of Glorious Modesto, a catalyst of creative initiatives that engender civic pride and connected community in our city;
table of 8th grader Bennett Vickery, First Place winner of the 2018 MADWEEK Cardboard Challenge - stop by to see Bennett’s amazing inventions and game designs;
get your MO.DE and/or MADWEEK t-shirts printed onsite by the CSU Stanislaus students’ Printmaking Club!

This event is FREE and open to all designers and design allies but Registration is required!
