MO.DE 2019 FEATURED SPEAKER
Carrie Bishop, Chief Digital Services Officer for the City and County of San Francisco
We’re delighted to welcome Carrie Bishop, Chief Digital Services Officer for the City and County of San Francisco, as the Featured Speaker for MADWEEK 2019 during the Modesto Design Collective (MO.DE) Annual Gathering, on Tuesday, September 24 at 6pm. See more information here!
Carrie Bishop was appointed in 2017 to serve as San Francisco’s first Chief Digital Services Officer where her focus is on improving the experience of San Francisco’s residents, businesses and visitors as they access city government for information and services.
Carrie started her career working in city government in London, at the London Borough of Barnet, and briefly at Capita Consulting. Frustrated with cities' lack of technology and excited by the early potential of the web, she joined forces with a colleague and together they built FutureGov, a digital design agency for public services using design, technology and organization development approaches to work with city governments in the UK and beyond to help them digitize public services. She has experience of large scale change in the public sector and has delivered contracts for the UK's Government Digital Service, which is regarded as a world leader.
Join us for the third Modesto Design Collective (MO.DE) Annual Gathering - a fun evening of inspiring speakers, food, wine, music and networking with fellow Modesto-area designers of all creative disciplines!
This event is FREE and open to all designers and design allies but please RSVP HERE.
Modesto Design Collective (MO.DE) is a community of designers, innovators, makers, and creative visionaries. We are committed to making Modesto a vibrant design capital that values, celebrates and supports design and the broader creative community.
