    Goodbye Girl, Suzanne Staud

A collection of pieces by acclaimed designer, illustrator and artist, Suzanne Staud of STAUDESIGN in Modesto.

Suzanne Staud is a fine artist turned graphic designer who was born in her family’s home town of San Francisco, but raised in Modesto, California. Even though Staud won loads of art awards in high school she was encouraged by her father to take typing classes because he didn’t want her to starve. Convinced she could “make it” Suzanne worked in print shops inking press plates and designing labels for corrugated boxes, eventually starting STAUDESIGN in the 1990s with her husband Randy Alford. She has illustrated a children’s book, designed and illustrated two lines of fabric, designed hundreds of logos, wine labels, brochures, posters, murals and newspaper ads.

Her mixed-media collage fine art is available at The Chartreuse Muse Gallery, and is in private collections around the world.
